Admission Process
Admission to the Master’s and Doctoral Program in Nursing is carried out annually through an application process, for the following Areas of Concentration: 1) Philosophy and Care in Health and Nursing; and 2) Education and Work in Health and Nursing. Nurses and other professionals with a higher education degree interested in working in the health field may take part in the admission process.
In the second half of each year, a Call for Applications is issued, establishing the number of places, the application period, the documents required, and the selection schedule.
Selection Process
The selection process is carried out by a Selection Committee, designated by the Program’s Council, in 3 stages:
- Application approval
- Curriculum Vitae Evaluation
- Project Evaluation and Interviews
The respective Selection Committee ranks the applicants by Concentration Area, in descending order of the average grade obtained, taking into account the partial scores obtained in the evaluation of the CV, the study plan and the interview, and respecting the number of places offered in each Area of Concentration/Group.
