Here you will find important information about UFSC and the Graduate Program in Nursing.

In addition to reading this material, it is also important that you should familiarize yourself with our BYLAWS.

About UFSC

Now that you are enrolled at UFSC, the map of the main campus is provided below. Remember that our program is found in the School of Health Sciences (Centro de Ciências da Saúde – CCS) at Block I.

University Restaurant (RU)

UFSC has a restaurant for the university community. The restaurant opens for lunch and dinner in the following days and times (particularly to students):

Monday to Friday – Lunch from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm and Dinner from 5:00 to 7:00 pm

Weekends and Holidays – Lunch from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and Dinner from 5:00 to 7:00 pm

In order to have access to the University Restaurant (RU), students must obtain a university identification card. To collect your card, go to the RU Card Issuance Sector, on the side of the RU administrative office, with a photo ID and your enrollment certificate stamped and signed by PEN.

Once you have your card, you can purchase the restaurant passes in the same place. The price for each meal is R$1.50.

Wireless access

UFSC offers the university community access to a free wireless network. In order to use this service, you must have a UFSC ID. To register your ID number, click here.

The wireless access to the UFSC community is managed by the Superintendency of Electronic Governance and Information and Communication Technology (SeTIC).  Therefore, if you encounter any connection problems, contact SeTIC at http://setic.ufsc.br.

University Library (BU)

UFSC has a Central University Library, in which you have access to books, journals, computers, a place for rest, among other services.

Its opening hours are: Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 10 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 8 pm. On Sundays and holidays, the Individual Study Room is open from 8 am to 5 pm.
